Get to know a little bit about our new members by reading their autobiographic introductory paragraphs below:
ANITA CAMIC - Regulatory Coordinator
I am th e new Regulatory and Safety Coordinator at HOG. I was previously at Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis (IUPUI) in the Research and Sponsored Programs department, specifically in Research Compliance for the past 5 years. Prior to that I was an outdoor apparel buyer for a national sporting goods store for 15 years and also worked at times on a neighbor’s farm, managed a local café, and as a massage therapist for a local chiropractor! I love to camp and backpack when I have the opportunity. I live on a lake, so also enjoy waterskiing and wakeboarding as well as just hanging out on the water. I am trying to learn German as I have hosted two German exchange students and would like to be able to return the favor of speaking their language when I visit! Little known fact: made a summit attempt on Mt. Rainier, but didn’t make it all the way :(. Mostly unknown fact: Bluegrass is my music of choice. I am very excited to be a “HOG” and look forward to working with each of you in the future.
ANGIE BAER - Data Associate
Currently, I have joined the Data Management team at Hoosier Oncology Group to assist in the development and validation of Clinical Trial data.I started out in the research industry 5 years ago working as a Data Collection Coordinator in designing and developing Case Report Forms for Clinical Trials. I have been working in Data Management for the past three years as a Data Validator. I also did Wellness Coaching for Community Health Network in the Health Promotions department. Prior to working in the research industry, I was a Social Worker for two years in a Long Term Care facility. I have a BS degree in Health Science and two minors in Social Work and Public Health. I keep very busy outside of work with my three children, two dogs and two cats.
