Mission

Hoosier Oncology Group

The purposes of the Hoosier Oncology Group shall include the following:

(a) To conduct cancer research, including, but not limited to, clinical cancer research at the community level, through, among other things, medical research and evaluation of innovative and promising methods and approaches of cancer treatment for the general population;

(b) To foster cooperation between medical center researchers and community practitioners through the development of clinical cancer research at the community level;

(c) To engage in medical research and evaluation of concepts through clinical trials when determined that the clinical trial will enhance existing practice options and improve member physicians' ability to treat certain disease and conditions; or produce benefit to, or secure data to be used in, other medical research activities of the HOG;

(d) To disseminate the knowledge and information obtained through the HOG's research and studies to practitioners and the community at large
